EMPIRE OF CATS
CH.1 The Battle Cats Rising The opening chapter — Korea to the Moon at 100% enemy strength, with unit costs discounted by a third. CH.2 The Emperor of Darkness The same 48-stage world map at 150% enemy strength and full unit prices. CH.3 Revival of Bahamut-Cat 400% enemy magnification and unit costs double Ch.1's — the first real lineup check in the game.
INTO THE FUTURE
CH.1 Time Enough for Cats Aliens debut carrying a saga-wide 700% base magnification that only the Crystal treasures can grind down. CH.2 Alien Intrigue - A Maiden's Revenge A second loop of the world map where returning Aliens jump to 250% magnification and five new ones — capped by Corrupted Valkyrie — arrive at 100%. CH.3 The Ancients Arise: Take Back Earth! The saga finale: veteran Aliens at 500–1,000% magnification and a corrupted Raging Bahamut Cat as the final boss.
1 The Legend Begins The gentlest on-ramp into Legend Stages — mostly Empire of Cats re-runs, with three new enemies of which only Doge Dark demands respect. 2 Passion Land A Spain-themed cruise that stays extremely easy until Tapas Desert, where Master A. 3 Glucosamine Desert Supplement-themed stages between very easy and easy. 4 Swimming Cats An easy sea crossing with one ironic spike: the FIRST stage, Premature Launch, and its two Master A.s is the hardest thing here. 5 Risqué Terrain Cave stages full of double entendres and double Master A.s. 6 Western Street A spaghetti-western road that sits between easy and medium, building to J.K Bun Bun — Teacher Bun Bun's Red/Floating upgrade — at Rodeo Night. 7 Sea of Tuna The hardest stretch so far — still only moderate, but most stages are built to annoy. 8 Bamboo Island Mostly manageable bamboo country with recurring Master A. 9 Squishy Cave A Dark-enemy gauntlet where single-target counters stop being good enough. 10 Volkanos Volcano Six volcano stages, easy until the last two — Volcanic Defender's early Teacher Bun Bun, then Kory's wave-attack debut in Flame Caldera. 11 Neverending Cat Story A remix sub-chapter: Passion Land's stages with doubled magnifications. 12 Castle of Fish The second remix — Glucosamine Desert's layouts with doubled magnifications. 13 Sushi Island Swimming Cats remixed with bigger buffs and group fights. 14 The Scratching Post Risqué Terrain remixed at higher magnifications — no new enemies, but pretty difficult anyway. 15 Parthenon Greek-myth stages that mark the start of the saga's harder stretch. 16 Low Tide Beach Generally considered the hardest sub-chapter yet. 17 Alcatraz The prison island — very hard unprepared, with cash-starved openings and One Horn spam. 18 Jail Break Tunnel For most players the hardest sub-chapter yet — and the first whose boss is recruitable: beat The Great Escaper for a 30% chance at Ururun Wolf. 19 Capone's Jail Angel enemies debut — a new trait your anti-Red and anti-Dark specialists can't touch. 20 Silk Road By far the hardest sub-chapter to this point — eight stages, eight different problems. 21 Stairway to Darkness Front-loaded difficulty: the FIRST stage, with Pigeon de Sable waves over buffed R.Osts, may be the hardest thing here. 22 Prince of Darkness A demon king's mansion, half tour and half torture: three easy rooms, three incredibly hard ones. 23 Dead End Night A breather with teeth — easier than the stretch before it, but every stage is tricky in a different way. 24 Battle Royale Empire of Cats peons return at formidable magnifications — read the buff numbers or get flattened by a Doge. 25 Scars of War Aliens invade Stories of Legend. 26 Sea Polluter One of the hardest sub-chapters yet, with three debuts: Capy's crits, Brollow's rushes, and Berserkory's Lv.12 waves. 27 Body & Soul Home of the infamous Gestalt, Decay — Dark and Alien spam with absurd DPS. 28 Weak & Mildly Acidic Two Can's waves and Codename "Red Riding"'s absurd range headline a mixed-difficulty set. 29 Intrepid Cats Five stages, one infamous: Darkweb, a wall of Wave Attackers and melee pushers that sorts rosters into 'has wave counters' and 'suffering'. 30 Shadow Cosmopolis Harder than Intrepid Cats — the wiki wants Crazed/Manic Cats at level 30+.
1 A New Legend Uncanny Legends opens with a single stage and a new rulebook: Relic enemies and the Curse effect, which switches off your cats' anti-trait abilities. 2 Here Be Dragons Six food-themed stages that ease you into full Relic rosters. 3 The Endless Wood The sub-chapter where Relics stop being a novelty and start being a problem — the wiki's advice is to bring Slapstick Cats or a strong generalist Uber from here on. 4 Primeval Currents A decently challenging sea route. 5 Barking Bay A breather sub-chapter — the first two stages are a complete joke by UL standards.
CH.1 Beyond the Exosphere The Cats of the Cosmos opener — Aliens become the dominant trait and Starred Alien variants debut. CH.2 The Passion of Catgod Starred Aliens hit harder than Ch.1 — 150–300% magnification across the chapter. CH.3 Even Stars Burn Out Extreme strength magnifications (some up to 2500%) — every fight in Ch.3 punishes under-leveled lineups.
