STALL STAGEAn endurance battle: stall with burst damage until most of the peon spawns run dry.
An endurance battle: Masked Okame knocks back on every hit and is immune to Freeze, so it pushes through anything that cannot kill it outright.
- Stall with burst damage until most of the peon waves have stopped spawning.
- Short-ranged, slow attackers are the wrong pick — its 800-range Omni Strike beats them down before they connect.
- Okame has only one knockback of its own, which makes Sniper the Cat and Breakerblast unusually valuable here.

CATS TO BRING 
ROE CAT A Roe Cat's Resistance to, and Weaken ability against Reds makes it incredibly durable against its target trait despite being vulnerable to Knockback. It leaves Okame with no opportunity to push, though the Dark threats must be dealt with accordingly. 
BOULDER CAT A Boulder Cat's massive health and Knockback Immunity allows it to stall any enemy in this stage, and gets more consistent with Research Cat Combos while the other units catch up. 
CYBERPUNK CAT A Both units provide valuable Slow effects against non-Metal enemies at extreme range, with Cyberpunk's LD attacks hitting everything in his small AOE while Sniper's single-target attacks knock back everything on hit. Both can't work alone, but definitely make things much easier. 
SNIPER THE DEADEYE A Both units provide valuable Slow effects against non-Metal enemies at extreme range, with Cyberpunk's LD attacks hitting everything in his small AOE while Sniper's single-target attacks knock back everything on hit. Both can't work alone, but definitely make things much easier. 
BULLET TRAIN CAT A Bullet Train is a very fast rusher with the Extra Money ability and decent damage. Combined with Stone, Bullet Train can pick off Doge Darks to ease any economical pressure. It has full backswing cooldown, as well as enough health to withstand one attack from Okame at level 40. 
HEAVY ASSAULT C.A.T. B With Massive Damage, Attack Up and Defense Up Talents, Heavy Assault C.A.T. serves as a very competent attacker. As the unit's speed, area attack, and anti-Dark Weaken all help to remove such threats from play despite its high cost. 
ASSASSIN BEARCAT A Assassin BearCat is a disposable, somewhat fast melee attacker with Insane Damage against Dark, held back by its incredibly low range. It is recommended to level it to 43 or above in order to tank a Gory Dark hit. 
PIZZA CAT A Pizza Cat is a midranger with Massive Damage against Darks, although unusable against Okame due to having very slow speed and low standing range. 
NEO CUTTER CAT A Neo Cutter Cat works just as well as it did in Realm of Carnage. Having 100% chance to Survive a lethal strike, 400% Strengthen at 1% health and Massive Damage to Reds, this cheap unit can deal incredible bursts of damage to Okame should it attack successfully while Strengthened. 
MANIC ISLAND CAT A Manic Island Cat is an incredibly good general purpose unit, thanks to its low cost and good stats. Being Strong Against Reds as well, it can survive multiple Okame hits and deal incredibly high chip damage while consistently handling the Ginger Snache waves. ▶ GET IT: drops from Fish Hell, 4th in the Crazed order → 
ISLAND CAT A While more expensive than and not as strong as its Manic Counterpart, base Island is still a solid choice for wearing down Okame and dispatching the Ginger Snaches. 
FISHERMAN CAT B While more expensive than and not as strong as its Manic Counterpart, base Island is still a solid choice for wearing down Okame and dispatching the Ginger Snaches. ISLAND CAT A Strong Against Red and tanky for the cost — a sturdy anti-Red frontliner.
