Heaven and Hell is the 2nd stage of Courts of Torment. Previous stage: The Pure Land. Next stage: Okame's Teahouse.
STRATEGY
The five-unit limit matters less than it looks, because Masked Okame already makes spamming units a losing plan.
- Most of what works on The Pure Land works here, as long as you are deliberate about what is on the field.
- Like that stage, this one is about preserving ground rather than trading it.
- Sniper the Cat and Breakerblast are again the key items for holding Okame back.

CATS TO BRING 
HEAVY ASSAULT C.A.T. B C.A.T is a menace on this stage. They're able to clear 2/3 peons with ease, are serviceable against the other (being Ginger Snache), and can score great amounts of damage against Okame. In addition, their ability to weaken prolongs their own lifeline, especially against Okame's attacks. 
ROE CAT A Roe is a fantastic tanker for this stage. Their huge bulk paired with fast speed makes stalling Okame trivially easy, assuming no peons get in the way. Their weaken also provides great opportunity for other attackers to score more hits, so long as you get lucky with the procs. 
BULLET TRAIN CAT A Bullet Train works great on this stage. They can easily score big damage for quite cheap, in addition to getting double money on any peon it manages to kill. At level 37, they'll also have just enough health to survive a hit from Okame, allowing them to rebound for extra damage. 
STONE CAT A Rock is a great staller for this stage. They're able to plug any gaps in the player's defenses rapidly, all whilst having a cheap cost and rapid cooldown. 
ISLAND CAT A Strong Against Red and tanky for the cost — a sturdy anti-Red frontliner. 
DARK LAZER B Strong against Red — 1.5x damage, takes 1/2. Also fits “Counter Dark.” 
PRISONER CAT B Prisoner Cat: Strong against Red enemies (Deals 1.5x damage, only takes 1/2 damage) Also fits “Out-range Masked Okame.” 
TIME TRAVELLER CAT A Strong against Red. Also fits “Counter Dark.”
