Wrath of Carnage is the 2nd stage of River Styx. Previous stage: Realm of Carnage. Next stage: Revenge of Carnage.
An exact copy of Realm of Carnage, except Rare and Super Rare units are banned — which removes most of what made that stage workable.
- Sushi Cat, Apple Cat, Swordsman Cat, Ancient Egg: N101 and Crazed Fish Cat are all off the table.
- Only Normal, Special, Uber Rare and Legend Rare units can be deployed.
- Hannya's Weaken and the Bore/R.Ost pairing are unchanged, so the fight is the same shape with fewer tools.
Hannya is Red. Anti-Red units take less damage and deal more.
ISLAND CAT A Strong Against Red and tanky for the cost — a sturdy anti-Red frontliner. 
ULTIMATE BONDAGE CAT B Strong against Red — 1.5x damage, takes 1/2. 
BELLYDANCE CAT A Dodges Red attacks (30%) and hits hard. 
TIME TRAVELLER CAT A Strong against Red. 
IMMORTAL MASTER TENGU S Strong against and knocks back Red. Hannya reaches 800 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
CYBERPUNK CAT A Range 1200 — fires from beyond its 800. 
PICCOLAN PASALAN S Range 940 — fires from beyond its 800. 
SNIPER THE DEADEYE A Range 1200 — fires from beyond its 800. Hannya has a deep HP pool (1,000,000+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
AWAKENED BAHAMUT CAT S Huge multi-hit burst — a story-unlock powerhouse that deletes tanky enemies. 
DIVINE KALISA S Big Massive-Damage Area hits. 
GAIA THE SUPREME S Long-Distance multi-hit with Insane Damage — a generalist wall-cracker. 
CORRUPTED MONEKO A Big crit burst against tanky/Metal targets.
