Revenge of Carnage is the 3rd stage of River Styx. Previous stage: Wrath of Carnage.
The map is noticeably shorter than Realm of Carnage, which turns any mistake against the Zombies' burrow patterns into lost ground you cannot recover.
- Bring hard-hitting Zombie Killers — Fish Cat and Crazed Fish Cat, Sushi Cat, Tank Cat and Crazed Tank Cat, Welterweight Cat, Vaulter Cat.
- Hannya arrives on the base-hit trigger alongside the Zombie wave rather than opening the stage.
- With the right Zombie Killers in the lineup there is little to do beyond spamming them.
Znache, Zroco, Zir Zeal and Zigge revive after dying — without a Zombie Killer they keep coming back. Bring one to end the loop.
SKELECAT B Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Counter Red.” 
KITE CAT D Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
NEO PILEDRIVER CAT A Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
ORBITAL ANNIHILATOR RAGNAROK S Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Burst the boss down.” 
HYPER MR. B Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. 
WEEDWACKER CAT A Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Hannya is Red. Anti-Red units take less damage and deal more.
ISLAND CAT A Strong Against Red and tanky for the cost — a sturdy anti-Red frontliner. SKELECAT B Strong against Red — 1.5x damage, takes 1/2. Also fits “Stop the revives.” 
COURIER CAT A Courier Cat: Deals massive damage to Red enemies Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
TIME TRAVELLER CAT A Strong against Red. 
THE PEACH DEVILS S Freezes Red enemies (area). Also fits “Clear the crowd.” Hannya reaches 800 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
CYBERPUNK CAT A Range 1200 — fires from beyond its 800. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
PICCOLAN PASALAN S Range 940 — fires from beyond its 800. 
SNIPER THE DEADEYE A Range 1200 — fires from beyond its 800. Hannya has a deep HP pool (1,000,000+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
AWAKENED BAHAMUT CAT S Huge multi-hit burst — a story-unlock powerhouse that deletes tanky enemies. ORBITAL ANNIHILATOR RAGNAROK S Among the highest single-hit Area damage available. Also fits “Stop the revives.” 
GAIA THE SUPREME S Long-Distance multi-hit with Insane Damage — a generalist wall-cracker. 
CORRUPTED MONEKO A Big crit burst against tanky/Metal targets. 
DIVINE KALISA S Big Massive-Damage Area hits. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 6 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
SKELECAT B True Form hits groups with Area attack. Also fits “Stop the revives.”
