REVENGE OF CARNAGE
Revenge of Carnage is the 3rd stage of River Styx. Previous stage: Wrath of Carnage.
The map is noticeably shorter than Realm of Carnage, which turns any mistake against the Zombies' burrow patterns into lost ground you cannot recover.
- Bring hard-hitting Zombie Killers — Fish Cat and Crazed Fish Cat, Sushi Cat, Tank Cat and Crazed Tank Cat, Welterweight Cat, Vaulter Cat.
- Hannya arrives on the base-hit trigger alongside the Zombie wave rather than opening the stage.
- With the right Zombie Killers in the lineup there is little to do beyond spamming them.
Znache, Zroco, Zir Zeal and Zigge revive after dying — without a Zombie Killer they keep coming back. Bring one to end the loop.
ZOMBIE CAT B Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Counter Red.” 
BAKERY CAT A Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. 
PILEDRIVER CAT A Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
MIGHTY REKON KORPS S Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Burst the boss down.” 
MR. B Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. 
GARDENER CAT A Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Hannya is Red. Anti-Red units take less damage and deal more.
FISH CAT A Strong Against Red and tanky for the cost — a sturdy anti-Red frontliner. ZOMBIE CAT B Strong against Red — 1.5x damage, takes 1/2. Also fits “Stop the revives.” 
CARPENTER CAT A Resistant to Red — durable against Red attackers. 
APPLE CAT A Freezes Red enemies (100% in True Form). 
MOMOTARO S Freezes Red enemies (area). Also fits “Clear the crowd.” Hannya reaches 800 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
Hannya has a deep HP pool (1,000,000+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
BAHAMUT CAT S Huge multi-hit burst — a story-unlock powerhouse that deletes tanky enemies. MIGHTY REKON KORPS S Among the highest single-hit Area damage available. Also fits “Stop the revives.” 
GAIA THE CREATOR S Long-Distance multi-hit with Insane Damage — a generalist wall-cracker. 
CRAZED MONEKO A Big crit burst against tanky/Metal targets. 
IZ THE DANCER S Big Multi-Hit Massive-Damage bursts. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 6 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
ZOMBIE CAT B True Form hits groups with Area attack. Also fits “Stop the revives.” 
SALON CAT S Hits whole crowds, and is Weaken-immune so it keeps firing through Weaken stages. 
NERD CAT A Evolved/True hit groups over a Long Distance band. Also fits “Out-range Hannya.” MIGHTY REKON KORPS S Long-range (Omni Strike in True) Area clears groups front and back. Also fits “Stop the revives.” 
VALKYRIE CAT A Hits the whole group while it freezes them.
