3-48 THE BIG BANG
3-48 The Big Bang is the 48th stage of Cosmos Ch.3 — Even Stars Burn Out. Previous stage: 3-47 Black Hole. Next stage: 3-IN Filibuster Invasion.
Final boss of CotC Ch.3 (Traitless). 1M HP, 800-range Multi-Hit ending in 66k strike. 100% Wave (Lv.12) AND 100% Warp back 1500 range on first hit. Mystery Mask required to keep him at 100% (otherwise 1,100%). Awakened Bahamut and Maglev Cat exploit the warp resetting their backswing.
Kid Tappa and General GreGory carry Barriers (up to 15,000 HP) — your hits are absorbed until it's broken.
Final Boss Giga-God is Traitless. Anti-Traitless units take less damage and deal more.
Final Boss Giga-God reaches 800 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
Final Boss Giga-God has a deep HP pool (999,999+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
6 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
CotC Ch.3 final boss. Final Boss Giga-God (Traitless, 1M HP, 800 range, Multi-Hit ending in 66k strike). 100% Wave (Lv.12) + 100% Warp back 1500 range on first hit. Awakened Bahamut and Maglev Cat exploit the warp resetting their backswing.
The endgame trial. Final Boss Giga-God has only 1M HP (less than Ch.2's Cat God!) but his Lvl 12 wave attack warps everything on the first hit and nukes on the third. The community fix: bring an Awakened Bahamut with the Explosion talent — his ~200k-damage knockbacks chain Giga-God's knockback animation, essentially locking the boss until a peon walks into Bahamut's range and breaks the loop. Required gear: Bahamut at level 30+ with Explosion talent, all Mystery Masks (43/45/47 superior), at least one anti-Floating Uber. The real killers here are Mesocosmocyclones — they push hard, stack with your Bahamut's range, and ruin your timing if you let them accumulate. Recommended lineup: Crazed Bahamut + A. Bahamut + Manic Lion meatshields + Ganglion/Twinstars for chip + a Doctor Cat to slow the wave. Considered the stage that unlocks 'real' Cosmos endgame; r/battlecats: 'if you cleared this you can stop playing the story and just go grind XP cans.'
